McCall MacBain Scholarship Applications Open
If you are a current university student or recent graduate (2019 or later), you must earn your university’s endorsement. Your application will be forwarded automatically to the university for review.
If you graduated in 2018 or earlier, you can apply directly without endorsement.
McGill Applications Open
You will need to apply directly to McGill for at least one eligible full-time master’s or professional program.
Program admission timelines and requirements vary, so please research the ones that interest you. We will ask you to apply by the first deadline for Fall 2021 admission, or by mid-December at the latest if you are selected as a finalist.
McGill admissions generally open in September for the following Fall semester. Visit the McGill Graduate Admissions website for more information.
Scholarship Applications Due
Submit your McCall MacBain Scholarship application, including both reference forms, before the deadline: September 24 at 4:00 PM EDT.
After applications are submitted and assessed, you may be invited to participate in selection interviews.
Your interviewers will be Canadian leaders who reflect a wide range of disciplines and life experiences. The interview process is an opportunity for you to tell us about your background, experiences, aspirations, and academic interests.
Regional interviews will take place in Halifax (November 7), Calgary (November 8), Montréal (November 14), Winnipeg (November 15), Toronto (November 21), and Vancouver (November 22). The format will follow guidelines from public health authorities at that time.
Final Interviews in Montréal
After regional interviews, you may be invited to participate in final interviews in Montréal, January 15-17.
Arrival on Campus
If you are selected as a McCall MacBain Scholar, you and your fellow scholars will arrive on campus in September 2021.
