Cristina is a lead urban mobility advocate at Make It Safer Movement and Move As One Coalition, two youth-powered movements for transportation policy reforms in the Philippines. Previously, she worked as a researcher and project manager for various democratic engagement initiatives with government and international non-profit organizations. Cristina graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in development studies from Ateneo de Manila University, where she was recognized as an outstanding leader and scholar. During her studies, she led a league of 32 independent student organizations, reported for the campus news publication, and conducted youth empowerment workshops. She will pursue a Master of Urban Planning degree at McGill.
