Before Shalom Carmona became the only scholarship recipient from Latin America to study for a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering in Montreal, Canada, she was a recent graduate with an urgent need to work to help her family.

The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a full graduate scholarship that provides students with the mentorship, interdisciplinary learning, and global community they need to accelerate their impact on the world.
McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill is situated on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations.
