Rachel Diotte-Lyles is the Marketing and Outreach Officer for the McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill. She has over three years of experience in non-profits dedicated to increasing access to education and empowering youth.
Previously, she served as the Development Coordinator for the Loran Scholars Foundation, where she played a key role in fundraising for their national scholarship program. She has also worked for the Quebec Board of Black Educators, where she developed communications and fundraising strategies to support their initiatives to provide academic support and opportunities to communities of colour.
Rachel holds a BA in International Development from McGill University. Outside of work, she is passionate about travelling, hiking, and cooking new vegan recipes.
The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a full graduate scholarship that provides students with the mentorship, interdisciplinary learning, and global community they need to accelerate their impact on the world.
McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill is situated on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations.
