Abibatou Fatou Ba is the Marketing & Outreach Officer for the McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill. In this role, she leads outreach initiatives and supports marketing efforts to help identify and encourage talented students across Canada and internationally to apply for the scholarship. She works closely with university partners, community organizations, and prospective applicants, and contributes to the creation of marketing materials, digital content, and information sessions that raise awareness about the program.
Before joining the McCall MacBain Scholarships team, Abibatou worked in donor relations and communications at Amnesty International Canada Francophone, where she managed donor communications, supported CRM systems, and contributed to fundraising campaigns and reporting.
Abibatou holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Concordia University. Having lived in West Africa and North America, she brings a strong interest in international engagement, leadership development, and expanding access to opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds.
