Lama graduated from the University of Jordan in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She works as a senior physiotherapist in Amman, leading the vestibular and concussion rehabilitation programs.

Since 2018, Lama has been mobilizing volunteers to aid families at Jabal el-Hussein, a Palestinian refugee camp. In addition, she has co-led a posture education project in elementary schools and co-created a 30-day boxing concussion protocol for elite athletes. At work, she established pro bono services and led the development of a fall prevention screening program for elderly patients.

Lama will pursue a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science at McGill.
