Sabrina is finishing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at Queen’s University as a Schulich Leader Scholar. She has completed several internships, including at NVIDIA.

Sabrina’s family connections to Newfoundland shaped her dedication to water conservation. She has co-founded and co-led a design team building an autonomous robotic boat for environmental monitoring on Lake Ontario, raising $30,000 for the project and launching two water-quality projects. Sabrina also led the Queen’s delegation at the 2023 Conference on Sustainability in Engineering, served as vice-president, technology, of the 2024 Ontario Engineering Competition, and contributed to a post-COVID initiative to improve student engagement.

Sabrina will pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at McGill. She aims to specialize in marine robotics.
