First of my family to enter middle school, studying abroad was never on my dream list. As a McCall MacBain Scholar, I was able to embark on this unimaginable journey and even found a new mission: broadening the horizons for first-generation and low-income college students. The meaningful connections I get here not only deepen my self-awareness but also enhance my ability to contribute to the community.
