Zina is studying computer science at Lebanese American University (LAU) as a Middle East Partnership Initiative scholar. For several years, she has taught weekly English classes for Syrian refugee students. Zina led the Google Developer Student Club, managing a team to deliver coding workshops, and continues to be involved in the technology community as an instructor and Microsoft student ambassador. She also co-founded an award-winning online platform helping local businesses navigate inflation, and worked as a software development engineering intern at Amazon. During her exchange term at Kent State University, she started an artificial intelligence student club. Zina will pursue a master's degree in computer science with the goal of using robotics to improve disaster relief efforts.
