Lorena Sora

Marketing and Outreach Officer

Lorena Sora is the Marketing and Outreach Officer for the McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill. She has more than seven years of experience in marketing and international recruitment for higher education, continuing education and language programs.

Lorena was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and earned a BA in Advertisement, Public Relations and Applied Communication from Universidad Central and Specialization in Marketing Management from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia. She has experience planning and executing marketing for service companies and academic institutions in Colombia and Canada.

Most recently, Lorena was Marketing Manager for Collège Canada, where she helped to develop global recruitment execution for higher and language education programs building and nurturing partnerships in Latin America, Asia, and North Africa.

McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill is situated on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations.
