AUB student Arwa Emhemed a global finalist for McCall MacBain Scholars at McGill University

American University of Beirut student Arwa Emhemed (BA ’23) is a finalist for the first global cohort of McCall MacBain Scholars at McGill University in Canada.

Arwa is studying political science at the American University of Beirut as a Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholar. She is also minoring in public administration and international law. “I know how competitive this scholarship is, and I am very proud of myself to have reached this far,” said Arwa.

The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a full graduate scholarship that provides students with the mentorship, interdisciplinary learning, and global community they need to accelerate their impact on the world.

McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill is situated on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations.
