Brendan has been involved with British Columbia’s marine mammal response program since 2013. He assists rescue experts with seal and whale rescue operations and helps maintain underwater monitoring stations. Brendan also coordinated a tutoring program, volunteered with a sustainability club, and managed logistics for cancer research fundraising events.

Brendan completed his bachelor’s degree in applied physics at Simon Fraser University as a Schulich Leader. He is now working as a drone technician and database administrator, and plans to pursue a Master of Science in Geography at McGill.
