Hannah studied life sciences at Queen's University as a Chernoff Family Scholar and worked for three years in student residence. As Residence Life Assistant, she helped manage teams to ensure student wellbeing. Hannah also assisted with the organization of a neuroscience conference and participated in her school’s International Genetic Engineered Machine (iGEM) design team. She served as Community Outreach Coordinator of a genetics and genome biology student club and volunteered weekly at the Queen’s peer support centre. Hannah worked in a variety of research and clinical settings, in addition to a part-time job at a movie theatre. She began a master’s degree in speech-language pathology at McGill.
