Sandrine served three terms with the Federation of student associations of Université de Montréal, including two terms as Secretary-General. Among other responsibilities, she coordinated the executive office and full-time staff (25 people), led a strategic issues review and ensured the implementation of operational plans. She worked on issues such as student mental health, academic freedom, and equity, diversity, and inclusion. Also, Sandrine contributed to the creation of the National Standard for Mental Health and Well-Being for Post-Secondary Students, a municipal youth debate, and a sexual violence prevention toolkit. In addition to her student activities, Sandrine interned at the Mental Health Commission of Canada. As a McCall MacBain Scholar, she enrolled in the Master of Public Policy program at McGill.
